Greetings: Today, without warning, VideoReDo displays a messge to turn off the debugger and try again. When I click past it, I get "error: acess violation at 0x7D002E6E (tried to write to 0x77CD1CA9), program terminated." The debugger is not enabled. Prior to editing the video, I had not changed the configuration of VideoReDo at all. I've tried a few other mpegs and .vobs, but they all give me the same result. I tried un-installing it, deleting registry entries and re-installing, but no change.
Any ideas?
Thank you
Cary Fries

It was okay after I disabled video acceleration. I have had trouble with NvDVD player, and after I un-installed it, I was able to re-enable VideoReDo's video acceleration, and all is right with the world once again.
I have had trouble with NvDVD playerIf anyone else is running with the NvDVD player, please post here. I'd like to see if its a general problem or specific to Cary's system.
Cary,
Please try the new beta ftp://videoredo:videoredo@ftp.drdsystems.com/Betas/ and let me know if it fixes this problem.

Dan, just thought you might like to know that after installing 1.5.5.226 I experienced the same problem. File|Save Video As... resulted in an immediate exception error. It only happened once so I regarded it as a fluke until I saw this. In my case, neither video YUV acceleration or directsound are enabled (for some reason they actually seem to slow down my system when they are enabled). I do not have NvDVD player, although I do have a old Nvidia (well, OK, ancient) video card. Just letting you know...
Hello Texneus, This hasn't been a great weekend for you and VideoReDo Build 226. :)
Which NVideo card do you have?

Uhm, well, 1.5.5 of any build I've tried so far hasn't exactly been in my cards :-). My video card is (oh am I embarassed now) an NVidia TNT2 Vanta. I only encountered this (the first time specifically) once in about 5 runs with build 226.

VideoReDo works great with YUV on, but in RGB mode it goes into a CPU loop. Haven't had a chance to debug it yet. I'm using the stock MSoft drivers that come with Win XP. Do you know if I should update to NVida drivers?

Don't think I can help you to much as I've never encountered that one. I have "Deinterlace On" checked, "Use Video Card YUV Acceleration" not checked. All works well. I'm running on Win2K with generic NVidia drivers (Detonator or whatever they called them then) that were current as of 2 or 3 months ago (version 4.4.0.3 according to Device Manager).
