I have been slowly converting my collection to a WHS and was under the impression that TV suit only wrote to mpeg-2. I did a test today by streaming the video to my PS3 and 360, just to find the conversion was a mpeg-1 that my 360 couldn't read, but the ps3 had no issue with. It also seemed to drop the quality a bit more than I expected.
Can someone help me get the settings correct in TVsuite to record all my .VOBs to mpeg-2 without having to worry about it.
Thanks in advance.

I use Quick Stream Fix in VRD. Start VRT and go to tools then Quick Stream Fix. Navigate to the vobs in the video_ts folder....select all of the vobs then tell it where to output the mpeg2 file. There will be no quality loss because a vob is mpeg2 and VRD will not do any re-encoding.
