View Full Version : Masking signalling information in top line

I only have a 4:3 TV :( which means when I record a widescreen show I sometimes see signalling information on the top line. I've usually removed it in Pinnacle Studio which of course requires a full recode and is painfully slow. I'm wondering if anyone has other ideas for masking the top 1 or 2 lines of a recording?

Thanks,
Ken.

You could try XtreamMPEG by Mediostream. Rather quick for reencoding and can crop video, Convert 16:9, 4:3, stretch, letterbox, Pan & Scan, etc.

Free trial that watermarks the output. Fairly quick. I thought the quality was OK, but someone I recommended it to didn't think much of it. Give it a try and see what you think.
