    Default Frame Cropping feature

I cannot find a frame cropping feature in TVSuite V4. This would be a very useful feature when recording letterboxed 16:9 videos recorded in 4:3 frames.

The cropping feature should be applied to selected frames and could be set up similar to the Ad-Detective setup, where the black border could be cropped off and the whole stream remuxed and frame-stretched into full 16:9 frames with no black letterbox borders.

Cropping is available via the output profiles. Go to file save, select a profile and then click on "Options". Once you set the cropping parameters you can save the settings as a new profile.

However, cropping applies to the entire file, not just selected frames.

Thank you...that is exactly what I was looking for. Selective cropping was not a major need anyway. Most letterbox cropping and resizing would apply to the entire file anyway. And selective letterbox cropping could be achieved by first cutting the file into segments and then cropping the letterboxed segments individually.
