    Default Blocky Video

    I'm getting blocky video when playing certain Tivo HD content with Windows Media 11. The video is fine when viewed inside VideoReDo. but its blocky before and after I open it with VideoReDo. I've tryed saving the raw file as an MPEG file from VideoReDo but its still blocky. I'm guessing its a codex problem and that VideoReDo is using the right codex and Windows Meida is not.

    Any ideas.

    Try a program like VLC or Windows Media Player Classic (WMPC). These applications, like VideoReDo have their own built in codecs. If they play OK then the problem is with your MPEG2 codec or demuxer.
