Default ETA on h.264 version available for all?

I'm an HD-PVR owner, and I'm still waiting for a "non beta" VideoRedo version. I thought it would be coming out by now, and I do so very much need to be able to edit with frame accuracy...

When will this baby be ready?

We will be pre-releasing a discounted upgrade to registered VideoReDo users in October. We will then finish up the packaging and release the final version a month or so after that.

Believe me, no one wants this out more than the staff here at VideoReDo. We just need to insure that the user experience is the quality users have come to expect. If you want it now, and you are a TVSuite user, private message Pat (user PHD) on this message board and he will set you up.

From what we can tell the HD-PVR files are working quite well.

hi, will the new version of videoredo support purposely broken .trp files? The company DGS purposely makes their firmwares for HD boxes mess up the DVB structure so that the files dont playback with vlc and they will get glitches when played with the current videoredo tvsuite.

TS-Doctor is supposed to fix those problems that DGS purposely make.

""We will be pre-releasing a discounted upgrade to registered VideoReDo users in October""

Will this be available to Plus registered users or just suite?

Don't know. If you can upload a clip we can check it out. We have well over a hundred test clips, but we don't always know which device they came from.

Hmm, It is the "month OR SO after that" that worries me!

I own "VideoReDo Plus". Sounds like I'll have to buy both "VideoReDo TVSuite"
and the upgrade if I want it next month (oct.) ?

Happy to do that if that is what it takes to get H264 editing next month.
(and am dying for the dynamic volume adjustment)!!!

Do you mean automatic normalization and dynamic compression? If so, we expect that to remain a TVSuite only feature.

Does TVSuite have that now?

I thought I read that it would be out in the next major release

If it is available NOW (automatic normalization and dynamic compression)
then I'll be buying it NOW!

thanks,
jmc

It is scheduled for V4, but if you get TVSuite, you can join the V4 alpha program and get H264 editing and dynamic compression. No charge until we release it.

If you use dynamic adjustments, you can output to MP2 or AAC audio.

Ok, bought and installed. I have an "Upgrade Token:" number which the
software program did something with.

Not seen a "key" number but the software seems to be happy.

Want to sign up for the V4 alpha program.

hmm, now have to figure out how to "private message" somone...

Thanks,
jmc
