good news... :) since you mentioned network sometimes being a problem i tried to switch setting the "monitor folder" - from: y:\xxx - to: \\server\share\xxx and it seems that this did the trick (at least for now)... (y) tested with a few remaining input files and processing / transferring were...

only y: is on the network (the original location of the recorded files) - all others are local. will try to check with all on local drives the next time i need it. and yes, by "hang" i mean the ui no longer responds. and one more remark. i think a long time ago (some version pre 6) it did work...

When I start processing and there are still some videos being transferred, the transfer is never finished. Program even "hangs" when all files already transferred are finally processed. Is it by design that I need to wait until all files are transferred before "start processing"? or is...

sorry for the late reply, too busy lately... seems that the changes you did for beta 6 are doing the job - no hanging anymore, both types (avc and mpg) are being correctly converted. i'm still using the same "hevc-2-ts" profile. thx

Yes, the temp file is already created and available in the tempQSF folder when AdDetect step is starting. Any additional logging, etc I could do?

@dlflannery thanks, seems to work better now! one more thing i notice is, that when the video is in status "waiting for cuts", and i open / save the project in vrd6, and then close vrd6 again, the video stays in status "waiting for cuts". when i open / save / close once again, all is fine.
