easeus recexperts screen capture audio dropouts

Do you know about this screen capture program from easeus? I can't seem to get their files into videoredo without losing bits of audio all over the place. Pretty much makes it not useful.

I can play their audio just fine in vlc and other players. I've had it output mp4, mpeg2, nothing seems to work in videoredo.

Will the latest version work with their software, as it's a quite nice program for recording screen captures with audio.

I hesitate installing the lastest version since my current version works ok with tivo files. But that's actually about all I used it for until now.

If I install the lastes version to try it out, will it mess with my current version, tvsuite 5.

VideoReDo can't handle variable frame rate video. These types pf programs seem to use that a lot. Check the settings and see if there is any way to force it to use a constant frame rate.

Thanks, I did check that and I've set it to constant frame rate. The errors I get show up as audio resync and when I get that little report at the end of writing out a file (or a quickstream fix) it will have many, and it's output in red so I figure that means VRD really doesn't like it, as for example,

20210117_123642
A:\files\20210117_123642.mp4

Video length: 00:07:22
Video size: 27MB
Output scenes: 1
Video output frames: 10611
Audio output frames: 10393
Processing time (secs): 3
Processed frames/sec: 3537.00
Actual Video Bitrate: 0.37 Mbps
Audio resync frames removed: 909

The result is that on playback, there will be many places where a word or two I'm saying is garbled or missing.

The log gets pretty long, is there any use of uploading one at this stage, or if I were to send you one of their files?

I'd upgrade to v6 if I thought it could work on these files. My only other method is to use their video editor which has to re-render the whole shebang and it takes longer than the length of the video itself to do that, while VRD can take just seconds.

(could not upload the log file, it's too big at 6.75 mb, so I snipped it but I think it has pertanent info)

Open the original file in MediaInfo then copy/paste the info here. I want to see if there is anything about the file that would cause this

different file, but same issues, so I'm uploading another snipped log. For what it's worth, here's a diff between media info's report on both the original and the file output by the qs. I lost 41 seconds of the video. The attachment is only of the one you asked for.

You can "clear" the log file and just do your problem file to get the log file as small as possible.

I think it could actually be the audio. SBR is a bit tricky. In most cases it's actually half the sample rate but there are some obscure cases where it's not and that can throw VRD off. Can you upload this file for me so I can take a look at it in the debugger?

Yes, I did that, but it refused to accept the upload as being still too big, so I snipped a bunch in the middle.

Absolutely, I was hoping you would say that. I forget how to get the thread id, so I pasted in there part of this thread's title: easeus recexperts sc

I'll send an email to support as well, thanks for taking a look.

OH, even if v5 turns out to not work, could you test it in v6, since if it works, I'll buy an update. I quite like this capture software, but it is bad on editing files. One get's used to vrd's speed.
