Hi.
I have a problem, some videos what i recorded have I frame after TV comercial, after saving files in this places sometime i have a trouble with playback (like little leap or scatter in colred pixels in first 1-2 seconds after TV commercial )

So, how can i turn on force recode for first I frame to IDR frame after cutting parts (like it works for P or B frames) in intelligent recode and frame accurate mode.

P.S. I have that problem in VRD 5, try VRD 6 but can't find any options about that.

As far as I know for "force recode" you would have to isolate the segments you want to recode and then put them back together in the
"joiner" .

There is no way to do this. Basically the way it works is if there is an IDR frame within 5 seconds of the cut then we use that as a starting point and recode using the standard MC encoder. This is much faster. If there is no IDR frame within 5 seconds then we use a much, much, slower method where we rebuild all frames with references to the cut frames one by one so they no longer reference those cut frames. This process creates files that are less likely to have the issue you describe, but it can still happen and the processing time is significantly longer so we're reluctant to use this for all smart edits.
