H.265/HEVC muxing no longer works

Start VRDPro. Drag a *.hevc file to it. Error: Unable to open file: <name of file in next line>
Start the stream multiplexer dialog and select the *.hevc file and an audio file. Error: Can not mux files
Tools->Elementary Stream Multiplexer: The pulldown list to the right of "File:" when you select Video->Browse doesn't have *.hevc or *.h265 in the list. Even if you select All Files, selecting a HEVC file results in nothing happening.
