High profile not available

Hi,

Shocked to hear the news. I was going to ask this question before I knew so here goes: I had an H.264 (High@3.2) file 1280x720 which was 50 fps and all I wanted to do was convert it to 25 fps. Initially it turned out as Main@3.1 using source and intelligent recode. Using H.264 I was able to select 3.2 and apparently also High profile but while the 3.2 worked the selected High profile was ignored and persisted with Main. Anyone got an answer?

Some combinations are not supported by x264. In that case we use a function in the x264 encoder to determine the best profile/level based on the other properties in the video.

Ah, thank you. Not really much of a problem but I was curious.
