I have Version 2.5.2.491 Sep 25 2006. Working in the Cut Mode. I told Ad Detective to scan Harry Potter in Chamber of Secrets video. Most of the film is dark, so it marked alot and filled in the red cuts, eventhough I went through and marked where I wanted the cuts, it made no difference to the cuts list. It removed parts of the film that I wanted to keep. PLEASE HELP !

Edit by hand.
I do it that way exclusively, all the time.
Doesn't take long.
Far quicker and much less trouble than re-tuning adDetective to deal with the dark scenes.

You say that Anole is a Senior Member, Maybe he should re-read my post. I said Ad Detective marked and filled in the red cuts, eventhough I went through and marked where I wanted the cuts, it made no difference to the cut list. It removed parts of the film that I wanted to keep. So I did go through and manually placed where I wanted the cuts. In this new version, why does Ad Detective automatically fill in the red and fill in the cut list?
I'm not talking about the red marks.

Go to Ad-Detective Parameters>Common Parameters and deselect "Automatically Cut Detected Scenes"
