There was nothing in the VRD log of use:I was talking about the VRD log. You can access it by clicking Help->Display VideoReDo.log from the menu.

VRD is crashing when opening the file. Is it possible to QSF it without loading it into VRD first?I also recorded Terra Nova (13gb) in .dvr-ms, with my Vista Media Center.
I'm not using that version of VRD, but do have some seek errors.
Could you try this:
- run the Quickstream Fix function only, on the file first.
Then, see if you can edit it okay.
Media Center will hide file glitches when playing back slightly buggy recordings.
So, they appear perfect.
It's -possible- VRD might be tripped up by an occasional glitch, so QSF-ing is a pretty good cure.
Worth a try.![]()
I gave it a try. Selected the file and then hit Select Stream at which point VRD crashed.Yes you can load the file directly in the QSF dialog. That will allow it to skip a lot of the checks it does when opening in the main UI and might allow it to work
