No audio causing problems on playback

I have several videos which have no audio on the first part of the first frame, from what I can see; not zero volume but no audio at all and this is causing problems on playback where no audio is then played for the whole of the video.

I've tried removing the first frame and re-rendering the file but when I look at the new copy in VR the new first frame still has the first part as no audio, removing multiple frames seems to make no difference.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the original sources so I can't reproduce the videos again.

Any ideas, thanks.

There is always a slight delay between the audio and the video. Audio and video frames don’t align perfectly because they're different durations. That’s not what’s causing your audio not to play.

Does the audio play in VideoReDo?

The video seems to play without problem in all of the players that I use except the one that I actually need it to. So yes, it plays in VR and VLC but not in the Emby player.

Just to clarify the video plays in Emby but there is no sound on playback.

I have a number of these files and one thing that they all have in common is the first .004 seconds of the audio being missing.

But the issue is that I can't correct it, as I said removing the first video frame and the associated audio which ought to get rid of the error doesn't, it is just replicated into the new first frame, cutting 5 or 10 frames does not fix it, each time the first frame has the same problem.

Maybe emby doesn't like the audio format. What kind of audio is it? I don't know Emby, does it require you to install additional codecs? Maybe you just need a codec for the type of audio you're trying to play.

Emby is my main payback app, I have 100s of videos edited with VR that play without problem it is only those with this audio issue in the first frame that I am having problems with, there is nothing else different about these videos from the ones that play.
