Playon cloud 1080p recordings are corrupted when saving a trimmed file

When editing all of the recordings I made (sourced from Amazon Prime), I saw up to 15% of the frames are detected as having sync problems and are removed. This (so far) has happened on every file I've edited. The original files seem to play correctly (I don't notice any audio sync problems anyway), but the final files are mostly much shorter than the original video (X-Men First Class started at 2:11 and after trimming the recording notice at the start/end ended with 1:45) and playback is very choppy. Stats showed 383 video resync frames removed, 68107 audio resync frames removed, and 2 audio resync frames added. Interestingly enough, loading the video into VLC media player shows the original length, but the video stops at the 1:45 point. Has anyone else seen this problem, or am I the first to try this?

Also, some of the recordings stay at 0% until I get a failure notice and don't start to write out at all. I haven't tried any other recording sources (such as HBO Max) yet. Any help would be appreciated.

This is probably because PlayOn cloud is recording with a variable frame rate. I know that you can set PlayOn desktop to record with a fixed frame rate, not sure about about playon cloud.

If you like send us a sample file and we will check it out (don't forget to send the email). (63) Uploading files to VideoReDo Support | VideoRedo

Ah - thanks for pointing me in that direction. Ran the files through a converter to normalize the frame rate, and the trimming now works.

Still would appreciate a sample since we working on adding support for variable frame rate videos.

Craig sent me some samples. The answer to your questions are "yes" and "yes".
