"Problem while seeking" Error with v6.61.1.819a

I upgraded to VRD v6.61.1.819a this weekend and now encounter this error when running Ad Detect in the background from kmttg:
3078

The vprj files generates properly, but the message has to be cleared after every file.

All files have previously been decrypted and processed with VRD QSF.

If I run Ad Detective on the same file in the VRD GUI, I don't get the error.

I rolled back to v6.61.1.818a and the problem disappears.

Is this a bug or an issue on my side? Any suggestions?

We've seen reports from other users about this and we're investigating the issue. If it's happening frequently I suggest you uninstall the beta and reinstall the offical release build.

I'm still getting it too, although I initially thought it was down to Acronis causing the PC to slow down whilst checking certain files but I have totally uninstalled Acronis and it's still the same. I'm also finding that saving in VRD is now very slow too, once I press save it can take up to 30secs before the dialogue appears.

Have been getting that error consistently lately.
Usually while either playing a file to the end or hitting the END key while editing.
Didn't report it as I saw others did and figured it was fixed in an unreleased version.

That's not normal. Check the last used folder. Is it on a network share?
Dan203, I'm possibly exaggerating but it takes so long for the save dialogue to appear, (Not Responding) comes up in the top left Title Bar, see image. This is an SD mpg file but it does it with HD H.264 files too.
With regards to the seek problem it always seems to try to seek to 1sec beyond the actual file size. See 37359 in VideoReDo Version 6 which was where I first posted this error.

Do me a a favor. With no file open in the UI click Tools->QuickStream Fix. Does that also take a long time to open? Also try the Elementary Stream Muxer. Does that take a long time to open?

Yes Dan, they both take the same time as the save dialogue takes, first nothing happens then the busy blue circle appears then after a few more seconds the dialogue does.

Hmmm.... can you export your full profile list and email it to me? I'd like to try importing it on my end and see if I can reproduce the issue.

I've found nowadays I sometimes have to wait an inordinately long time for external USB disks to spin up :(
Just out of interest, there's none of them in your favourites or defaults ?

Back to the problem...
Any news on a fix for the subject of this thread?
Or should I post again with the same subject for the same problem.
Seek fails about 1 second after end of video when selecting end or playing to endCapture.PNG...

It's a known issue in the beta. Revert to last official release build if it's a persistent problem for you.
