Problems with DVB subtitles

I have a video with DVB subtitles, if I edit it and save with ts format, the DVB subtitles track disappears, if I save it with mkv format, the DVB track appears, but according to your answer to my question Problem with subtitles recognition , mkv is not compatible with DVB, and this track is simply transferred to the output, while with ts if it would be compatible.

Shouldn't the DVB track appear in the ts output, since it is compatible, or am I doing something wrong?

I attach mediainfo information of the three files, original, edited to ts and edited to mkv

Edited: I am using version 6.62.4,827

DVB should output to TS. But only if the track is actually detected by VideoReDo. When you open the original file in VideoReDo and look Tools->Show Program Info does it list the DVB track? If not go into Options, General and increase the value for "MBytes to scan".

Ok Dan, you're right.

It must be a MediaInfo problem, because if I ask with VLC for the current media information -> codec, the DVB track appears.
It also appears if I load the edited file in VideoRedo and ask for the program information.

Sorry!.

I'm not sure why MediaInfo is having an issue. My only guess is that your particular file doesn't have any DBV subtitle packets near the start of the video. MediaInfo works by scanning a small segment of the video and determining it's properties from that. TS files do not have any sort of central header like other formats, so the only way to figure out what's in them is to find the actual packets. If MediaInfo isn't scanning far enough into the video to find the DVB packets then it wouldn't even know they're there.
