QSF FIle size / Bit rate loss.

Why is there a difference in the file size and bit rate after quick stream fix only. I have only just started to do this part separately. I assumed that when you cut adds send to batch; run batch that this would do a quick stream fix as well as cuts.

So now that i do QSF on its own i can see the impact on file size and bit rate and wondered of an explanation?

WTV files are like TS files, they can contain garbage data, like null packets, that get removed when you remux the file. The bitrate shown in that dialog is just a calculation which essentially uses the total file size, divides by duration/frame rate, then subtracts the audio bitrate. So when the file gets smaller the video bitrate shown in that dialog also goes down. The actual video bitrate did not change. The only way to change the actual video bitrate is to recode.
