Thought this would be a good place to slap up some reviews (from people other than beta testers) as we find 'em!
Here's the first... (from shspvr.com)

This prog FIXED my audio sync problems!!

I've been chasing audio sync problems with pvr-250 captures since the day I installed the card, and until this program came along, EVERY other editor I tried could not maintain audio sync after editing. As I've stated in several other posts, my captured files play fine in WMP, but any editing, or even simply re-muxing for dvd authoring has resulted in slowly degrading audio sync as the edited clip progresses. I tried the editing and/or file repair features of: Nanopeg, Womble, V-dubMPEG2, Ulead, MPEG2-cut, PVAStrumento, and possibly others (don't remember all of them).

Way to go DRD Systems! Now I can get on with what I set out to do when I originally purchsed my pvr-250, months ago. Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Peter, where was this posted. Here's one from cwg on the SnapStream forum. Some not so supportive comments over there as well, but I can't tell if they even tried the program.

Than why do so many companies get it wrong, I've used a lot of editors over the years , this one is really good. Why is premiere such a lousy editor for mpeg files, how about ulead, even on a fast system womble isn't as fast as it could be.

Videoredo is quick responsive, has nice preview, has good scrubbing ability, seens to be easy on system resources, has a decent user interface, good support of the smartskip files and some of the best customer service I've seen.

Theirs only one editor I like that comes close to this and its not very good on mpeg2 files, and thats vegas video.

This is my all time fav. so far. Its from the Sage TV forum:
I have gone blind trying to choose an app for basic direct mpeg editing. Everything I have tried introduces quality problems, most notably fast action hesitation. None of them seem to respect the GOP.

I have spent an afternoon with this program and love it. The pq is perfect so far. It does all of its work while you are running sage and it's very fast.

The only sage related issue so far is that the times displayed in sage navigation are way off. 3 movies so far each show a total of about 20 minutes and my 5 sec ff takes me 60 sec forward. I think I have read about this header issue.

But who cares, I'm as happy as a pig in shit.

thanx again.

Got this review in a private email today:

A comment on compatability. I am very impressed with your product - speed, ease of use and small size. I am using it in combination with an Adaptec avc2200 usb capture device, with the VideOh! authoring software: Sonic MyDVD - no problems at all cutting a DVD with the Videoredo produced mpg file. Sonic MyDVD is also designed to work with Showbiz DVD 2.

This from a thread in Digital Video Forums:
Well I've given this a try, and wow! It does everything correctly and remuxes the file in sync... hopefully now I can re-edit the file as required in TMPGEnc!

I've searched for months for something to do this, and now I've found it. Thanks for making such an easy to use piece of software as VideoReDo, and thank you for providing a tool to make my PVR 250 actually usable! I shall definately be buying a registered version.

Of course, I'd still like to find out why my video frames are dropping in the first place.
