Reasons for new activation request?

Hello!

Yesterday I was asked for a new activation on my PC. V5 was installed 14 months ago on this PC, all I did change was the SSD.

Is V5 so sensitive that a new SSD needs a new activation?

Activation is based on a hardware "key" that is generated based on a few pieces of hardware on your machine. Swapping any hardware can potentially trigger a new activation. No big deal though. As long as your key isn’t constantly being activated it wont be a problem. Our system only flags keys that are activated frequently, like those that have been stolen or hacked.

I already purchased V6 but don´t installed it because I want to build soon a new PC for Video cutting. After W10-update my actual PC feels very slow if opening Programs or only the Explorer

You can install it. You're allowed to have it installed on multiple PCs. Like I said our activation system is just there to prevent stealing, not normal use.
