Hi Experts,
I am sorry to be asking a question that is seemingly already answered, but which I don't understand.
I have a Full TS file recording with multiple streams, including DVB Teletext.
Below is VideoRedo TVSuite4 "Show Video Program Information" (I'm interested in) and attached is export from MediaInfo.
I want to save it as a DVR-MS file to be played by Windows 7's Windows Media Center, with minimum transcoding. Help, please?
R's, Alex

EDIT... I just realized this is VRD5 not the VRD6 I was working with.
Hmm, just installed VRD5 and it is much simpler...chose the DVR-MS profile and save with a Major Recode.

So I'm assuming that your question is how to avoid a Major Recode and I don't see how unless it is possible
to save your TS container file with a mpeg content.
I have no use for mpg files (except for converting them to x264.mp4s) so I don't know if that is possible or not.
Good Luck!

If I understand correctly that you want to save a .TS file to a DVR-MS type file.

I ONLY get a File Type Option of "DVR-MS File" available when saving to "Output codec" "MPEG-2" or "Match Source".
and I end up with a MPEG video file after a "Major Recode".

Only certain types of Subtitles can be kept inside certain Containers types... .mp4,mpeg,MKV etc.

No idea what can or can not be kept in a DVR-MS File. Try it and find out if it works or not.

We do not support Teletext in DVR-MS or WTV formats. We investigated it at one point and MS stores them in a proprietary format that would require conversion to support. Our subtitle support is pass through only.
