Select multiple shows to a file for each show

I have the Channels DVR and it provides a nice tidy edit list that skips all the commercials when I import it into Video Re Do…, Now, I want to be able to select a number of these files and have each one saved (minus commercials) to my hard drive. I don’t want one big file, but, rather, one file for each show. And I would vastly prefer to select a bunch at once… Not to do them one at a time. Is this possible??

I make a master project from the whole big file with the Ad Detective cuts. Then for each show (episode) I wish to encode, I merely open the master project, set I/O points, and "Trim Unselected." Goes rather quickly, although I'm sure there are other solutions.

Use the batch manager. You can import the vprj file directly into the batch manager and it'll process them one by one to individual files.

I would recommend checking the markers on each recording in VRD.
I wouldn't do batch ad removal using the markers in the Vprj files from Channels DVR.
Comskip and the new Smart ad detect are far from 100% accurate.
I don't use their autoskip either because of that.
Unless you don't care what gets cut out or left in.

You could go through each one manually adjusting the cuts and queue them to batch manager.

Yeah you might want to do that just to be safe. You can add a button to the bottom or side of VRD to add a project to batch, so it wouldn't take a ton of time to open each project, check the cut points and then add them to batch.
