I transferred a number of TiVo recordings manually w/o TiVo Desktop some time ago for backup.
I now just installed TiVo Desktop, then installed the Bonjour64 file (I forgot that was needed). I pointed Desktop to the location of the transferred recordings. TiVo Desktop sees the files ok, but when I open the folder with those files in VRDTVS v6 , I get that "TiVo file open error" message about the MAK and/or installation of Desktop..
I checked the MAK number and it is correct. I get no other errors. Does it matter if those recordings were xfered manually or via the Desktop application since that seems the only variable?
Thanks in advance, hope the above made sense.
