I have a capture i took from my spectrum dvr before i cancelled it. I cannot save the video after edit out the commercials. I tried quickfix and will not fix the issue it keeps saying mpeg 2 decoder error and keeps going up timer never finishes. I tried tsmuxer to repair it fps error so then i set the frame rate still cannot repair it. So i tred tsdoctor it did something to repair it but yet i cannot save edit in videoredo am i screwed on using the video? I wanted to use the video to make my own bluray disc. If you need a log let me know and ill do it.

These are from my elgato capture card. Just a note all the other captures so far had no issues. I have no clue what's going on with the capture labeled 3x14

There are too many audio streams in those files. The consumer version of VRD only supports 8 audio streams max. Even if that’s not the cause of the problem you're experiencing, you will lose audio streams if you process those files with TV Suite. You'd need VRD Pro to support that many audio streams.
As for the problem at hand… these files are H.264 according to MediaInfo, so if you're getting an error about the MPEG-2 decoder then something is being read incorrectly. We use a few markers to determine the video codec. On rare occasions they can trigger a false positive of the wrong format. Try going to Stream Parameters in Options and increasing the MBytes to scan at file open. That might help. You can also try the option to ignore transport maps. That might also help. The easiest way to test the issue is to simply open the file and then look at Tools>Show program info. If it says MPEG-2 there then it will fail on save. If it says H.264/AVC then it should work.

Ok when i turn on my desktop ill try what you said. For the to many audios yeah i own elgato does that. I do have videoredo to save the file using one audio. Rest audio is all the same. I never got any issues on any files the way i got videoredo 6 setup its just 3x14 ep. I been editing so many videos from elgato with videoredo 6 and this is the first video im having trouble with. Rest i can edit save with one audio no sync issues or any issues.

OK if you're only saving one audio stream anyway, then it shouldn't be an issue. The only thing that *might* be an issue is that with TS files we pick up audio first come, first serve. And when we hit the limit we just stop. So if the unwanted audio streams happen to come first, before the wanted one, then it's possible the wanted one won't even be available to choose. May never be an issue, but if you ever run into a file where it is you'll understand why.
