Unable to open any file

I've been using videoredo for quite a while to edit tv that I have recorded.
Now all of a sudden it gives me a "unable to open file" for any kind of video file I try to open. I'm generally editing dvr-ms files.
I am not sure what happened. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall, update, etc, and still get the same error.
This is what it shows in the log file. I get this same file open open problem 5. message trying to open any kind of video file now.

Got the same exact problem. Everything has been working great for months now, and all of a sudden it stops working, and won't open any video files. Even ones that I know were opened before with VideoReDo.

A long time has passed. But I am having the same problem now. How did you solve it? I am so distressed.
