V5 Upgrade Email

Just purchased the upgrade from v4 to V5 :D

You probably have this in hand but thought I should mention that the upgrade email, even though it has a heading of "Your Upgrade TVSuite V4 to TVSuite V5" has a link to V4 (not a problem for me as I have already downloaded V5) and has references to VideoRedo Version 3 (rather than V4) when explaining the upgrade requirements. It then thanks me for purchasing V4. I purchased via Paypal if that makes any difference.

As I said, you probably have this under control ;)

A quick question, I have one licensed copy. I will upgrade for $25.99 ... can I buy 2 for that price (2 PCs next to each another at home) ...

Our license allows you to install on multiple PCs as long as they both belong to you and only one is being used at time.

Am I supposed to get an email with my new v5 license key ? (I did receive an email with the upgrade token and installed using that).

You should. If you don't email us at support and we can get it for you.

My Feedback:

Just made my purchase of the upgrade from V4 to V5. Here are some of my feedback

a) There is a $2 charge for the payment system to charge to credit cards. This is probably the only site I have made any online purchase where I am made to pay for use of the payment system. If I purchase an item at Amazon or any online site for that matter and it costs $X and I opt to pay by credit card, then my credit card is charged $X, not $X+$2

b) After the encoding has completed and you click "OK", the focus (or control) does not go back to the current Video Redo window unlike Version 4. So I have to click the window again. This becomes a chore as I open about 3-4 copies of Videoredo to do simultaneous editing. I was wondering what is the reason for this behaviour?

c) Nevertheless, this is a compelling upgrade due to the somewhat faster processing of edits and some other improvements

Thanks for upgrading, it's appreciated.

a) We charge $2 when purchasing via share*it because they charge us a lot more to process the transactions. The main reason we still use share*it is that they have the ability to process interbank transfers popular in Europe, especially Germany. Last time i checked, paypal didn't have that capaibility.

b) The behavior shouldn't be that much different between V4 and V5. I'll ask someone here to check it out.

c) Thanks and there are more features to come in Version 5's life cycle.
