VRDPro does not get focus upon file open

I've mentioned this many moons ago, so I'll mention it again. When VRD opens a file (other than opening a file that is in the joiner list), VD does not have focus. That means all hot keys are ignored until one clicks the rodent within VRD. That is annoying. Many a time I open a file and forget to click to get focus. It didn't used to be this way. Any chance of fixing this so that VRD gets focus upon opening a file?

Can't duplicate here. What is the full sequence of actions? Are you running Win 10?

As noted in other postings... Win7. Just open a file, TS or MKV, in my case. You can drag a file onto the VRDPro shortcut, onto an open VRDPro or via the pulldown File menu option of a recent file. The only time it doesn't have the issue is when I double-click on a file in the joiner dialog.

I'm not able to duplicate. Are you sure it's not something else on your system grabbing focus?

Do you have batch running in the background or anything?

Nope. If I load a file on the system, using VRD 766a, it keeps focus. Only with v8xx has it been doing this.

I'm testing in v823 right now and it's working fine. I tried open and picking a file from the MRU list, both keep focus as expected. Drag and drop does not transfer focus to VideoReDo but it's not suppose to and AFAIK never has.

Keeping focus works on any version that is not VRDPro, when I do drag-n-drop to the shortcut or on a running program. Contrary to what I write above, 804a does keep focus. When I open a file, or drag-n-drop a file, I have to click in the program to be able to use a hot key. This is via Win7.

MrV, did you try it on a Win 10 system? We've not been able to duplicate it here in our Win 10 tests.
