Website down!

Hello!

I am a registered user of VRD 1.7, and I'm quite keen to upgrade to the new version...but that's a little difficult to accomplish right now, as the www.videoredo.com site appears to be down. Are there any alternative download sites? If not, can anyone offer an estimate as to when the main site will be back online?

You must have hit it while it may have been down temporarily. Seems fine now.

That's weird. According to our logs, our webserver has been up over 5 days.

False alarm--I think it must have been a DNS problem at my end, as I was finaly able to access the site via its IP number.

VRD+ is now working beautifully on my system. Sorry to have troubled you!

Someone else reported a similar problem last night so it might have been a global DNS problem for us. We switched DNS servers for videoredo.com today so hopefully it will be more reliable.

No, I still cannot reach "videoredo.com" !!! (Direct acces by IP does not work... "The connection has timed out")
"videoredo.com" -> Request timed out, but it's registered in the DNS as .... xxx.xxx.xxx.219.
"videoredo.net" works fine and is replying to PINGs.

You realize that you responded to a thread from 2005? There is a more recent thread about this same issue under the V6 forum.
