Why do I have to choose the profile EACH time I save an edit?

Am I doing something wrong because I cannot for the life of me find a way to keep from having to choose the profile each time I save an edit. There should be a way to choose a default. Almost all my edits are of TS files. I would edit MKVs but even though VRD claims to support HEVC it simply does not work for me now matter which HEVC profile I use to encode. I have modified the TS profile to up the Bit Rate to prevent PTS Underflows and that is the profile I want to use most of the time but I also don't want to choose it every time I save.

Is the only way to do this to choose only one favorite and choose to show only favorites?

And how do I delete a profile? There are some I want to get rid of forever.

In Tools->Options->General there is an option to change the default profile from Match Source to Last Used. That will probably take care of the issue.

To remove a profile just go to Tools->Manage Output Profiles and uncheck the ones you don't need. You can also delete them if you really want but unchecking them will remove them from the Save dialog so there is really no need.
